  I think someone decided to grab a little from the Sikh community. The Sikh have their five articles of faith....the keski, the kangha, the kara, the kacchera, and the kirpan. They also have three pillars which are basically mediation, effort, and charity. A lot like the Buddhists and their pillars.....looks like some JW has been studying eastern religion and decided to make it applicable to the hum-drum world that is the ORG>

  Sorry, this is an issue. Unless you have become a "spiritual danger" to your wife and family (see Reasons for Separation as defined by the ORG) then your headship is still in tact. It is a usurpation (one of my favorite words) to circumvent your God-given authority. You may choose to approach the elders and question the motives of the brother and why he feels that he can usurp your authority, God-given authority mind you. If they don't see an issue, then you might simply question his motives on a personal level. Good luck....strange situation I know.

  one thing that people have today that others in past didn't is the inter-net and the available information that can be derived from it.

  the foundational history of the wts.

  from the late 1800's throughout the 20th century is now quite easily obtainable for anyone with a computer and the inter-net.

  Your mission? Was your mission to see if you could join a website solely dedicated to disseminating information that would bring to light JW issues, most of which are unknown by the rank and file, and to NOT become critical of the ORG you love and respect? If so, congratulations. My issue with that is....why would you have joined if not because DEEP DOWN INSIDE you have issues with the ORG? If you did not then you would have never joined the group, you would have simply lurked. But, you didn't. It appears that you became so enamored with the group that you even chose a specific emblem to identify you as distinct and special amid all these nobodies like me. Mission? I think your mission was accomplished and now your eyes are open, the scales have fallen from your eyes and you are awake to the reality of this ORG and your place in it....which is exactly what?

  i brought this up in a conversation after today's meeting.

  the elder knowingly acknowledged the growing number and pointed out that of course, now we understand why this is so.

  i gave my best blank stare and said "we do?

  Its easy...

  1) First group, the apostles and EVERYBODY that knew the apostles up until the GREAT APOSTASY. Never mind that Jesus said that nothing or nobody could undo what he had done.

  2) Then almost 2000 years with NOBODY really anointed, yeah, they may have thought they were, but Jesus and Jehovah were waiting for Charles Taze Russel to show up and set everybody straight. Then, from CT Russel until the death of the last guy that knew him....that was the elite group of, faster, stronger, better than the apostles or First century anointed.

  3) Then, when that last guy died off, there was another group...they knew some of the guys that knew CT and Franz and all those guys, but they weren't part of that group. At least, they didnt tell anyone they were. You see, Franz had said that the anointed had ALL BEEN CHOSEN and that anyone else that claimed to be anointed after 1935 would be a faithful, long serving, REPLACEMENT. Well, convenient enough, when Franz was buried at the launching pad, these NEW and IMPROVED full-boat anointed appeared on the scene. They were stronger, faster, better, yes, much better than the second group and DEFINITELY better than the apostles, after all....ALL PROPHECY relates to them.

  4) Then, you have another group. These are the ones that didnt know the second group, they didnt overlap. They just saw how important the overlappers had become and started to think, "Hey, these overlappers are going to probably die in this system and who will take over the nice leased cars, and the really nice apartments at HQ when they do?" "We will!" So, you have people who start partaking in their late 30's and 40's, "LOOONNGGGG TIIMMMMEEE" servants just like Franz had said.

  Does that clear it up?

  JW.ORG has jehovahs backing

  been hearing this from various people from the cong that jw.org is a clear sign that god is directing the org.. i have various friends in the it dept not only in brooklyn but mexico and colombia, just a fact there is 5 to 6 it dept all over the world that give support to jworgie 24/7... so i have ask them how they came up with the website wich is not the best but not the worst by far.

  all four of them told me the same story, there is a brother in florida that is profesor of some kind computer class and as project he made them work on the website so students of these college helped launch this site.. so more like jah backing it has more like satan backing...

  If that is the case, then the JW God is pretty slow at embracing the wave of technology and current trends. The God I worship is not short of cash and considerably more innovative. He created everything right?

  why when a person is dis fellowship the elders and others act like all hope is gone and refuse help that person come back to God's Word

  i been married to my husband for almost 9 years.

  he's been a witness his whole life but got disfellowship a little over 15 years ago.

  before his dis fellowshiping he was very active.

  Repentance means sincere regret or remorse, deep sorrow, compunction, to turn from sin....many of these things are not easily discerned, so, the ORG has made "repentance" into an act, an act not unlike being a JW itself. One must become patternistic, follow a program of repentance..."works that befit repentance" is what they like to call it. Everything involves works....there is no grace, oh wait, undeserved kindness. You must follow the program, meetings, underline your magazine, look dejected...all the same works that God is looking for. LOL

  after almost 24 years in the school and doing it since i was nine years old, i officially resigned.

  it has become increasingly difficult to prepare talks, especially with the new format for brothers.

  i did not mind doing them; i actually put the time and effort into getting them out.

  Not Seating at the Same Place in All Meetings.

  i haven't heard this one in a while but it has been on my mind lately.

  maybe it's because i'm noticing that these days people at the kh are going the extra mile to vary their seating places in all meetings.. having skipped meetings for a few weeks, i'm wondering if there has been a talk/article about that recently.

  that's one of the most laughable rules they made and i never felt bound by it.

  Excited about the CO visit

  during the many years of being a jw, i could never really bring myself to be exited about the co's visit.

  this has been an issue that always kept me wondering back to religions.

  why could not feel the same happiness that made everyone around me cry during the sunday service?

  2: The scene may be changing but the talk is the same (so I dont need that one)

  3: The only way I would attend the third one on survival is if Bear Grylls was giving the talk, otherwise (I dont need that one either)
